The FDC Tribe comprises of Scientists, Process Experts, Legal, Business Development Managers, Machine workers and many more who have come together to make FDC the brand that it is today.
At the scale at which FDC operates, we are a Tribe of tribes. Our organizational structure and culture allows our leadership positions to work as strong conduits between the overall direction of the company and their teams. We are driven by clarity in vision, ambitious objectives and a supportive ecosystem of multi-disciplinary experts.
From being a small company that deals in importing drugs, infant foods and surgical appliances in 1936 to becoming one of the major companies that have been providing healthcare products across the globe, we believe that without our employees it would not have been possible. In the past 85 years, FDC employs more than 6000 employees ( the contractual staff are over and above the 6000
employees who are on FDC payrolls) known as the FDC Tribe. Indeed it is well said that the greatest values are learned from family and at FDC we are proud to learn new things from our innovations.
Developed by Mr. Anand Chandavarkar in 1936 with a dream to make India independent in the healthcare sector, FDC has come a long way by creating a portfolio of products that are currently synonymous with the category of drugs.
Our large portfolio that is approved by accredited institutions from around the globe for the use of consumers has been a product of a team of driven and committed team players.
